Rather than representing what your character can do, your character sheet describes who your character is, and you get rewarded for actions that fit that description. As your character changes, so does their character sheet.

Fateroller’s rules are easy to learn, and you don’t need to know them all to start playing. The rules are designed to do three things: challenge the players, propose questions that lead to engaging answers, and bring new ideas to the table. They’ll never butt into your roleplay, only embellish it.
